WELCOME TO BARNGATES BREWERY

Situated between Ambleside and Hawkshead in a stunning lowland fell location, Barngates Brewery benefits immensely from using its own water supply in the brewing process. This unique natural resource is gathered from these same fells and is free of additives with its light peaty colour (reminiscent of a malt whiskey) it is the distinctive foundation of each beer.

We share the same location as The Drunken Duck Inn which serves our cask beers and Tag Lag, Red Bull Terrier and Chesters Strong & Ugly in bottles and gift packs.
