CATNAP

A straw coloured hoppy beer with a hint of grapefruit. Well balanced bitterness leads to a long dry finish. A fruity, zesty character.

Catnap is named after Kitty or ‘Fatcat’, a huge, churlish, tortoiseshell madam with a voracious appetite who could hold her own with any of the dogs. John Lloyd had a very soft spot for her (and her for him) and she could often be found sunning herself on one of the beer barrels. She arrived in 1988 when she was dumped in the car park as a very small bundle of orange, brown and white fur and lived at the Duck for fourteen years.
