Copper coloured. Subtle hoppy aroma, clean and smooth with a long bitter finish. A well-rounded ale.

If there had to be one pub dog that was remembered above all others it would have to be Cracker. Named after Cecil Aldin’s Bull Terrier (countless prints of his line the walls of the Duck) she was every inch, and there weren't many of them, a true Jack Russell Terrier. Short legged and extremely hairy, she was a big dog in a tiny dog’s body. Plucky and cantankerous, not overly keen on children, she strolled around the Duck as if it was her own. She met an untimely, but swift, end just short of her 17th birthday. 
A small moss covered headstone commemorates her long life, with the simple epitaph; ‘Cracker 1979-1995 Much missed by all at the Duck’
