Tag, the sheepdog, was an accomplished thief whose stealth (persistence) and intelligence (greed) allowed her to make off with plunder from delivery vans, her greatest coup being a whole side of venison which she managed to drag an admirable distance through the grounds of the Duck without anyone noticing. She was Tom’s constant companion, never happier than when she was trying to round him up on his bike. Velvety eared and destructive of tail, she roamed the Duck from a skinny pup to a grey bearded, hefty old lady.
